If Your Dog Is Out of Control, You Don't Have a Training Problem. You Have a Relationship Problem.
Pulling on the leash. Ignoring commands. Reactive, anxious, chaotic at home. You’ve probably tried other trainers, YouTube videos, treats. Maybe it worked for a week. Then you were back to square one.
Here’s the truth: most training fails because it treats the symptoms instead of the cause. A dog that doesn’t have structure, boundaries, and a clear relationship with their owner will always find a way back to the behavior you’re trying to eliminate.
At Canine Revolution, our Board and Train programs don’t just teach commands. We build the foundation — impulse control, self-regulation, genuine obedience, and a real relationship between your dog and your family. Then we hand that foundation back to you, with the tools, knowledge, and ongoing support to keep it.
This Is Not a Kennel. This Is a Professional Training Campus.
There’s a significant difference between dropping your dog at a boarding facility that offers “training add-ons” and sending your dog to a dedicated professional training operation. Here’s what that difference looks like.
20-Acre Training Campus
Our facility in Dorchester, SC is purpose-built for training — not converted from a boarding kennel or crammed into a suburban backyard. We build real behaviors that hold up anywhere — from your living room to the Summerville Farmers Market to Folly Beach.
20+ Professional Trainers on Staff
Your dog isn't being handled by one person working alone out of their home. Our team of professional trainers provides consistent, expert handling every day your dog is with us.
24/7 Supervision
Your dog is never left alone and never just kennel time. Every hour is structured, supervised, and purposeful.
We Come to You — Pickup and Delivery
Your trainer picks your dog up from your home. At the end of the program, your trainer brings your dog back to your home, trains with your entire family, and sets up follow-up visits. This isn't a hand-off. It's a handover.
Veteran-Owned and Operated
Founded by Chad — Citadel graduate, Navy veteran, law enforcement professional, and IACP member. The discipline, structure, and standards here reflect that background in everything we do.
365+ Reviews at 5 Stars
The strongest review position of any dog training operation in the Charleston Lowcountry. Not because we ask people to leave reviews. Because the results speak for themselves.
Real Dogs. Real Families. Real Results.
Don’t take our word for it. Here’s what life looks like after a Canine Revolution Board and Train program.
“We sent our 10-month-old puppy, Frank, to the four-week board and train at Canine Revolution with Danny, and it has made a HUGE difference in our quality of life. Frank has been home for a week and is noticeably calmer and more well-behaved. He barks less, walks much better on the leash, and is far less chaotic around the house. He’s stopped chewing on furniture and even lets us eat dinner on the couch — which was practically impossible before. We also have a newborn at home, and feel much more comfortable having Frank around the baby now, which has been a game changer. We were a little hesitant at first because it’s definitely an investment, but the progress he’s made and the peace of mind it’s given us has made it feel absolutely worth it.”

“The 6-week training program for our goldendoodle Brogan has changed our lives. We went from screaming throughout the day to steadiness that has not only helped him but us too. Just weeks ago we could not walk him outside because of pulling and lunging at people — but now our walks are focused and everyone is a lot less anxious. You get so much more than the cost of the program. This has been the best decision for Brogan and I only wish we would have done it sooner.”
— Brogan’s Family, Charleston SC | 6-Week Off Leash Freedom
“We dropped Clyde off for his 4-week stay and waited for our videos each week. Within the first 2 videos, I was shocked that he sat still watching chickens walk by. 4 weeks later, he came home a completely different dog. Our house is calm and peaceful now and he is truly enjoyable to have around. Off leash, down/stay position, outside without a fence and plenty of distractions. I cannot say enough great things about this team.”
— Clyde’s Family, Lowcountry SC | 4-Week On Leash Manners & Foundations
“I’ve been in the dog world for almost 15 years — AKC conformation, hunt tests, agility. I have never sent one of my dogs to anyone for training. After talking with Chad and his team, I knew my dog would not only be in great hands but would be exposed to and taught things in the most appropriate way. The confidence she gained during her board and train is truly invaluable. I highly recommend Canine Revolution to anyone that wants to strengthen their relationship with their dog.”

What Happens From the Day You Reach Out to the Day Your Dog Comes Home
We’ve worked hard to make every step of this process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Here’s exactly what to expect.
Discovery Call
You reach out, we talk. We learn about your dog, your goals, and your concerns. We'll tell you honestly which program is the right fit — and if we don't think we're the right solution, we'll tell you that too. For more complex behavioral cases, we're happy to arrange a full consultation before enrollment. No pressure.
Enrollment and Scheduling
We'll get you scheduled and handle all the paperwork and intake details. You'll need your dog's vaccination records emailed ahead of time. That's the hardest part — we handle everything else.
We Come to You
On your start date, your assigned trainer comes to your home to pick up your dog. You don't drop your dog at a front desk. Your trainer meets your dog in their own environment, begins building the relationship from day one, and takes it from there.
The Program
Your dog lives and trains on our 20-acre campus under the care of your assigned trainer and our full staff team. You receive weekly progress videos so you can see the transformation happening in real time. Your dog will also take field trips into town with your trainer to proof their training in the real world.
Return Day
Your trainer brings your dog home. Not to a parking lot. To your house. They spend time training with your entire family — so everyone knows how to maintain what your dog has learned. This is the most important session of the program and it's included in every program we offer.
Follow-Up and Lifetime Support
Your trainer schedules follow-up visits at your home to reinforce your training and answer your questions as they come up in real life. 6-week program graduates receive lifetime support — we are with you for the life of your dog.
Alumni Boarding — Your Dog Always Has a Home
Once your dog graduates, they're part of the Canine Revolution family for life. When you travel, your dog comes back to the campus they already know — the trainers they trust, the structure they thrive in. We maintain and refresh their training during every stay so they come home better, not worse. This isn't doggy daycare. This is a homecoming.
Your Questions, Answered Honestly
We’re usually booked several weeks out. Here’s why that’s actually good news for you.
A waitlist means we don’t take every dog that comes through the door. We take dogs we know we can help, in numbers that allow our team to give every dog the attention they deserve. A training facility that can take your dog tomorrow should make you ask why they have that availability.
If you’re reading this and thinking “I wish I had started sooner” — the second-best time to reach out is right now. The families who get the best results are the ones who got on the schedule before the chaos got worse, not after.
Here’s what the investment actually includes — and what it replaces.
Private dog training sessions in Charleston run $100–$200 per hour. A series of group classes might give you some improvement with significant daily maintenance. And most of those options put the training burden entirely on you.
What you’re investing in with a Canine Revolution Board and Train program:
– 4–6 weeks of daily professional training on a dedicated campus
– 20+ training professionals working with your dog
– Pickup from your home and return to your home
– A family training session on return day
– All training equipment you need — collar, leash, pet cot, and more
– Follow-up visits from your trainer at your home
– Alumni group classes
– Lifetime support (6-week programs)
When you add that up against the alternative — years of weekly sessions, equipment you buy and return, and results you have to maintain entirely on your own — the math changes.
And if that investment still feels like a stretch, we offer three ways to make it work:
– Lump sum (one payment, no hassle)
– 50/50 split (50% at start, 50% when your dog comes home)
– Financing via Affirm or Klarna (apply in minutes, get an answer fast)
Every owner feels this before they drop off. Here’s what actually happens.
You are not leaving your dog with strangers at a kennel. You are handing your dog to their assigned trainer — a professional who will know your dog, handle your dog every day, and bring your dog back to your house personally.
If your dog is a rescue, this feeling is often even stronger — and we understand that completely. Our trainers have all worked with rescue dogs and have also adopted rescues themselves. We know that what a rescue needs most is not more uncertainty. It’s structure, consistency, and a clear path forward.
Your dog lives on a 20-acre campus with 24/7 supervision and a full staff team. They are never alone. They are not in a crate for 22 hours a day. They are training, socializing, and living in a structured environment with people who genuinely care about them.
One of our clients described watching their dog sit completely still while campus chickens walked by in the first week — on camera, during a weekly progress video. That’s what real, structured immersion produces. You can’t replicate that in a one-hour weekly session.
You receive weekly progress videos so you can see your dog — and see the transformation — while they’re with us.
“We were a little hesitant at first because it’s definitely an investment — and we missed Frank! But the progress he’s made and the peace of mind it’s given us has made it feel absolutely worth it.”
“I have never sent one of my dogs to anyone for training. After meeting with Chad and his team, I knew my dog would not only be in great hands but would exceed every expectation I had.”
The hardest part is the first few days. The rest is weekly videos of your dog becoming the dog you always knew they could be.
Who's Behind Canine Revolution
Canine Revolution Dog Training was founded in 2017 by Chad Singer — a Citadel alumni, U.S. Navy Veteran, with a background in Police K9 training. That background isn’t a credential on a wall. It’s the standard every trainer on our team is held to.
What Chad built in Dorchester isn’t a training business that happened to grow. It’s a 20-acre private educational academy with 20+ dog training professionals, purpose-built to produce the kind of results that hold up in the real world — not just in a quiet training room.
Chad is an IACP Professional Member, the author of “The Ultimate Leash Training Manual: 5 Steps to a Well Behaved Dog”, and the host of the Pack Talk Podcast — reaching over 48,000 listeners with straightforward, no-nonsense training strategies. The same philosophy drives everything we do at Canine Revolution.
Over 1,000 dogs transformed. 365+ reviews at 5.0 stars. Nine years serving the Charleston Lowcountry.
This is what it looks like when dog training is treated like a profession.
Frequently Asked Questions
Board and train is a residential dog training program where your dog lives and trains with professional trainers for a set period — typically 4 to 6 weeks. Unlike private lessons where the owner does most of the hands-on work, board and train allows professional trainers to build a real foundation of obedience, structure, and behavior before returning the dog to the family with follow-up support.
We offer three primary board and train programs: the 4-week On Leash Manners & Foundations program, the 6-week Off Leash Freedom program, and the 6-week Behavior Modification & Rehabilitation program. Custom programs of 1–3 weeks are also available for specific training goals.
Our training campus is located in Dorchester, SC — a 20-acre dedicated training facility serving the greater Charleston Lowcountry including Summerville, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, West Ashley, Daniel Island, and surrounding areas.
Your assigned trainer comes to your home to pick up your dog on the start date of their program. At the end of the program, your trainer brings your dog back to your home, trains with your entire family, and sets up follow-up visits. You are never dropping your dog at a front desk.
Your dog’s food, a copy of vaccination records (emailed ahead of time is fine), and any medications or preventatives they need. We provide everything else — housing, training equipment, handling, and care for the duration of the program.
Every program includes all the training equipment your dog will need at home — collar, leash, pet cot, and any additional tools specific to your dog’s program. You will not need to purchase training equipment separately.
Yes — every program includes follow-up visits from your trainer at your home and access to alumni group classes. Our 6-week programs include lifetime support. We are with your family for the life of your dog.
