Originally from Goose Creek, South Carolina, Chad graduated from The Citadel in 2013 with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  Upon graduation, he was commissioned into the United States Navy where he served as a Communications Officer in San Diego, CA and Detachment Officer-in-Charge in Coronado, CA. While stationed in California, Chad and his wife, Lauren, brought Bane into their home as a puppy.  Because of Bane’s energy levels, over-excitement, anxiety, and lack of listening, Chad became a dog trainer in San Diego, California where he learned and trained dogs for over one year. Upon resignation from active duty service, Chad moved back to the Charleston Lowcountry and started Canine Revolution Dog Training. Chad’s mission is to help as many dog owners truly enhance their relationship with their dogs despite the issues that they may be experiencing.

Chris began working with Canine Revolution Dog Training along with Vader and developed a pack structure to address Vader’s anxiety. It was through this training that Chris developed a passion for dog training and a desire to help other dog owners overcome similar obstacles. Chris and Kelly now have three dogs in their pack, Vader, Lola and Leia.

From The Founder

MEET THE FAMILY OLD

Canine Revolution Dog Training is focused on enhancing the dog and owner relationship, so that all can “Live the dog owner’s dream”. Revolution is “a dramatic and wide-reaching change”. Our vision is to change the way that dogs are viewed and how they are treated to better align with their natural instincts. This is accomplished through training methods that are “Tried and True” including three main aspects: education, balance, and pack instincts. Education is “information about or training in a particular field or subject”. Our method of training educates the dog on how to behave appropriately in a domestic environment and how to tolerate foreign behavior. Additionally, our training method educates the dog owner on how to understand the dog’s language (body language), understand the dog’s mental state, and utilize the dog’s natural instincts in order to become the pack leader. Balance is “a condition in which different elements are in the correct proportions”. The Canine Revolution method of training uses a consistent and fair approach to dog training that simulates canine interaction in a natural dog pack. A balance of training also creates trust, loyalty, and respect with the dog and owner that strengthens their day-to-day interactions. Pack Instincts are a dog’s “natural behaviors that are not trained or taught”. In order to utilize the dog’s natural pack instincts, we must create a pack structure. This is a major aspect of the Canine Revolution Dog Training method, creating a pack structure that simulates the natural dog pack, forming conditions for living in the pack, and that is easy for the dog owner to understand and maintain at home in order to successfully “lead the pack”. At Canine Revolution Dog Training our commitment is to provide unmatched lifelong support for you and your dog. It is an honor to work with each and every dog and owner, and our desire is to interact with as many dogs and owners as possible to help both live a naturally happy, stress-free life together while revolutionizing the way that society views our beloved companions. Chad Singer Founder, Canine Revolution Dog Training

Testimonials

I contacted Canine Revolution Dog Training to help my English mastiff Bigfoot learn some manners and stop destructive behaviors such as chewing on the furniture, breaking out of his kennel and pulling on his leash. Everyone at Canine Revolution was friendly and professional. They walked me through their training protocol and provided weekly updates and videos. Their balanced training approach was exactly what I was looking for and Chris was amazing. He answered all of my many questions and continues to check in on us from time to time. Thanks to Canine Revolution Dog training I have the kind of relationship with Bigfoot that I always wanted and we get to do so much more fun things together because he is well behaved.

Cannot say enough about the impressive staff at Canine Revolution Dog Training! Lexy did an exceptional job with our golden retriever, building his confidence and holding him accountable for his behavior. The entire CRDT team works together to provide the best possible environment for the dogs in their care and gives owners the support and structure needed to build upon their success.

Before sending my pup to Canine Revolution, my household was so stressful- it was clear I didn’t have the structure or knowledge needed to teach Ollie what to do, so he just did whatever, whenever, and I couldn’t understand why my life was chaotic and I wanted to cry on our walks 😂 I had inquired about their training when he was four months old but the price overwhelmed me. By the time he was a year old, I was about to LOSE IT. It was either rehome him or invest in our future together. I trusted CRDT for the four week board and train, as Dawn was so helpful with all of my questions and I had a bunch. I was NOT expecting the quality and level of customer service/alumni support that came with the training. At drop-off, Ollie was a new boy- and I was given clear instructions on how to help us all transition. Ollie’s trainer Kevin is SO helpful and knowledgeable, and so real & nonjudgmental! We are one week out of training and i feel so much more confident in myself and my dog, excited to keep learning, and so connected & supported every step of the way. The engagement of the trainers is so valuable. My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Cliche but so true- Kevin & the CRDT crew gave us our lives back! Can’t wait for our next follow up and we plan to be regulars at the group classes. THANK YOU!!!!!

I couldn’t more strongly recommend Canine Revolution! Admitting to ourselves that our puppy, George, could benefit from training was the hardest part! Chad came out to meet with us before we even committed to booking and gave us an hour of his time and expertise. That was all the confirmation we needed that he and his team had the best interests of our family at the center of his business. We were thrilled to have Lexy assigned as George’s trainer. She was in regular contact, sent us photos and even supports us now, weeks after he’s come home. George’s behavior is incredible - he is well trained, but not a robot. His training taught him boundaries, manners and all we hoped for. So appreciate the Canine Revolution team and experience!

Kevin and Canine Revolution were the BEST! I had my six month old golden retriever puppy go for a four week training camp and we both learned so much! Kenny is growing to become a 100+ lb dog and I truly wouldn’t know how to control him if it wasn’t for Kevin, his knowledge and his guidance. Could not recommend this program enough!!!

Our 7 year old dog, Keira, had become very reactive to other dogs while walking, to the point that we weren’t feeling safe taking her out.She did the four week course at Canine Revolution with Lexy as her trainer. We received weekly video updates which reassured us that she was doing well and set the foundation for the changes we would need to make when she returned home. Before Keira returned home we received a detailed training manual with information to set us up for success. When Lexy brought Keira home she spent a couple of hours answering our questions, teaching us how to use the remote collar and providing moral support. The ongoing follow up has been so helpful, Lexy had been available by text and email and has come back to our home to answer questions and provide advice. We did an alumni dog class which was a great confidence boost for Keira and us and we plan to continue the classes. We are completely satisfied with our experience and are giving full credit to Canine Revolution and Lexy for the positive changes in Keira ( and her owners). We highly recommend Canine Revolution and Lexy! Turns out you can teach old dogs new tricks.

I cannot say enough nice things about the helpfulness and professionalism of this team. They. Are. On. It! I want to express my gratitude for CRDT, and especially to my trainer, Kevin, for taking such great care of our boy; for diligently checking in with us before, during, and after he completed his training; for answering all of our questions and thoroughly addressing our concerns before we came on board and after we got home; and for being a genuinely nice guy who loves to help dogs have the best lives possible. I am incredibly impressed by the level of care and customer service we received from this company. They’re worth every penny.

What more can I say about Chad, Erin and the entire Canine Revolution team. We adopted an abandoned puppy named Georgia who was just struggling with her behavior and wasn’t integrating with our family and adult dog. After 4 weeks with Canine Revolution, she has the same sweet heart but now has the manners to go along with it. Instead of stress, Georgia provides sunshine. If we could rate Canine Revolution a 10 star rating, we would. Thank you Chad and Team!

Lexy at Canine Revolution was absolutely amazing!! I cannot recommend her enough. We got a Golden Retriever puppy with mountains of personality. I was initially against the the thought of paying for dog training but my wife finally convinced me to go for it. We decided to do the 6-Week board and train option. From the moment we met Lexy when she arrived at our house for the pick we knew we were in good hands. For the whole time during the training Lexy stayed in contact with us with multiple update videos and pictures. On the days leading up to the return Lexy was very thorough on the procedures and how things would go during the drop off. When I say there was a night and day difference in out little gremlin puppy that doesn't quite do it justice. Lexy turned our puppy into a well behaved gentleman of a puppy. We loved our puppies personality and that was part of our worries about taking him to training. We were worried it would change his personality but Lexy was able to create amazing behaviors without compromising his personality. Even in the follow up training and group classes the communication was amazing and the training was well worth the money. Lexy is an amazing trainer and I truly could not recommend her and canine revolution enough.

Let me start off by saying we are those people who love their dogs like children. They are allowed on the furniture, in the beds, kind of just do what we do.Backstory: I adopted a 3 year old dog who could no longer live in his home because he was getting in fights with the other dogs. He got along with my dogs and fit right into the pack. Fast forward a year and we had a baby. He was neurotic, would bark constantly, couldn’t be in the same room or see the baby. It wasn’t aggression he just was unable to control himself and didn’t know what to make of all the changes in his life. It was a stressful time for all of us. I cried, because I never want to be that person who has to rehome a dog who I’ve loved for so long. But the circumstances were different this time.Review: I reached out to canine Revolution begging for help. Starting with Dawn, she was quick to respond to my struggles. I think within an hour she was explaining their program. And she talked to me all for days and I believe over the weekend. Just based off responsiveness I already knew this was a great company. They let us tour the site before we committed to anything because I needed to know where my little guy was staying. Chris explained from a trainers standpoint. He was so personable and understanding to our struggles. He also listened to what our issues were and didn’t lie to what training he thought we needed. He could’ve said 6 weeks and we would’ve listened but he said 4 weeks. That’s a lot of money difference. That was already 2 points in their favor! Our trainer was Lexi who was great. She loved him in the 4 weeks he was away from home. Took him to all kinds of different places. A dog I couldn’t walk on a leash before came back and was ready to work. He’s a delight to have in the car. He now knows what we expect of him and how to behave. Most importantly, he is happy, gets his daily work and exists in the same room freely with the baby.I recommend canine Revolution to everyone who asks about a trainer. It was worth the time away and every single penny. If you’re wondering if it is worth it. It is. From one stressed out new mom/ dog mom sign your pup up.

If you are considering dog training, Canine Revolution is a game changer!I sent my puppy to CRDT and am THRILLED with the results!! She was out of control and upsetting my older dog so much I was desperate.Lexy worked wonders, and in two months my puppy obeyed commands, held her spot, understood potty training, and was able to integrate into our home happily and non destructively. These folks are wonderful to work with- very responsive to my questions as a client and they know DOGS! I have learned so much and will continue to use their boarding service as a “tune-up” opportunity.Happy client and Puppy!!Thanks Lexy and Chris- you guys ROCK❣️

Best Dog Trainers in Charleston and beyond! Canine Revolution trained our Golden Retriever when she was 16 weeks old. We selected the 8 week program (we wanted the maximum experience for our dog and extensive training that some people may not need but we found necessary). They do have shorter periods that are equally as effective for your basic training needs. We received weekly updates and videos of our little fur baby. When she returned home Millie not only remembered us but immediately went into training mode when our trainer Lexy requested. We were given an extensive rundown of how to maintain Millie’s schedule and adapt where we needed to our lifestyle. Remember DOGS ARE NOT ROBOTS. When they come home you HAVE to continue the training and put the time in to maintain your investment. If you start to get behind or ever have questions, the Canine Revolution team is right there to help. I am so grateful for their time and love they gave to our dog. She was a chewing, leashing pulling, poop on the floor, jump on you hyper dog when she left. When she returned we had a walk by your side, happily calm, no accidents, no chewing and eager to please dog. We get compliments all the time when we are out with her and we give all credit to Canine Revolution. We are also utilizing their kennel for trips so we can ensure she is safe and well kept after with the best team.

Having our dog trained at Canine Revolution has been absolutely life changing! We were so stressed trying to figure out how to get our dog trained and how to get our dog to understand what we wanted her to do. Going for walks had gotten unpredictable about how she would behave. We also wanted her to have good behavior with family and friends coming over to our house. The Pros at Canine Revolution answered all of our questions ahead of time and delivered excellent service. Kevin was our dog's professional trainer and he successfully gave us and our dog the results we needed. This is where we board our dog now when we go out of town because we are so happy with the reinforcement of her training...an added bonus. The bottom line is that it totally changed our relationship with our dog, that we loved but didn't know what to do, to loving and truly enjoying her without all the previous problems. She is still the sweet dog that she was but now she knows what we want and we know how to communicate with her. Hands down, worth every penny and one of the best decisions we've ever made.

I can’t say enough good things about these trainers. Chris T was amazing with our dog. We were just moving in from out of state and had a very difficult time getting our dog here, but they were so flexible and they worked with us and made it so easy. Everyone we dealt with was great. There’s no other place I’d recommend.

Kevin is amazing! We were dealing with major aggression issues with our rescue dog and thought he was never going to get better. We had been through 3 trainers and nothing changed. Finally we found Canine Revolution Dog training and Gary is a new dog after the 4 week program! They continue to follow up and offer so many opportunities to maintain the training. 10/10 would recommend!

Our 2 dogs attend the advanced training at CRDT and we couldn't be more pleased. Walks are much more fun than they used to be, no dashing out the door, etc. Off leash and recall practices are so much fun! The follow up sessions and group classes are pure gold. Kevin, sent regular videos and pics of our dogs while in training, is always prompt at meeting times, and is quick to answer any questions we have. The long-term support is exemplary!

My 2y/o Great Dane was suffering from ptsd, separation anxiety, and exhibiting aggressive behavior following a break in at home. He was a nightmare to control in a leash, never listened and would lunge to attack other dogs and people walking anywhere he could see. After sending him for training the difference is night and day. He now can be taken everywhere we go and is a model dog. He no longer pulls on the leash, sits and stays even if he isn’t being interacted with, follows off leash commands. We couldn’t be happier with the results we received.

When the Federal Express driver stops his truck to tell you that he has never seen a better behaved dog- and he sees a lot of dogs- it is time to write a review for Chad and CRDT! Rowdy, our 6 month old English Shepherd, recently completed the 4 week board and train. Before training my neighbors described him as “an out of control puppy”- he would lunge and bark at cars, golf carts and bikes, he would not come when called, he was like a sled dog when we walked him. Walking on the Spanish Moss trail where we live in Beaufort was a nightmare since he would jump at people and dogs. The CRDT mantra is to “preserve the personality of the dog.” And Chad did just that- Rowdy came back from training with his quirky and loving personality but my neighbors- and our family- describe him as an entirely different dog. This is the best dog training experience we have had- and we have owned 6 dogs. Highly recommend CRDT!

I rescued my pup Coco shortly after being trained at canine revolution, and they changed the course of her life! She was reactive, insecure, and headed towards euthanasia, when CRDT stepped in. Canine revolution taught her to trust and enjoy life again through their leadership and accountability principles of training. Hands down the best training program in the greater Charleston area. Will continue to send all of my future dogs and refer friends here!

If you are looking for training for your dog, look no further. CRDT is the best in the business!Kevin transformed our mini schnauzer! I was initially hesitant about sending him, because he would be two hours away. But- I am so glad we did. Kevin has also trained my sisters pup.Our lives are so much easier now that he has graduated from training. Public outings are enjoyable, and he listens and behaves. The boarding program is another amazing perk with CRDT. I have piece of mind when we are going out of town, and I love the fact that he can receive refresher sessions during boarding.CRDT IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS!

If you are considering training for your pup this is the place for you! You will not worry while you are away from your pet. They will send you updates and videos while they are away. The follow up sessions and group classes (also in between emails and questions answered throughout) solidify training for you and your pet to make the transition home a stress free experience. They are so awesome we use them for boarding FREQUENTLY! You will thank yourself when it is all done and forever have a family of support in the revolution!

I truly can't speak highly enough about Canine Revolution's training program: the work they do is nothing short of incredible. Pickles was always a good dog, but after training from Chris, she is a GREAT dog. (And it goes without saying, training me to be a better and more responsive owner, too.)In my opinion, one of the things that sets them apart from other obedience classes and programs is the continuing education. I can (and do) text or email my trainer Chris literally all the time, and he always responds with thorough feedback and tips - including, I might add, on Thanksgiving holiday. He came to my home one week following the training to check my progress. There are alumni group classes so I can practice skills in a safe and structured setting.

Our Roxie is a 65 lb "Great American Dog" we adopted 5 years ago. We don't know her story, but she's been a good dog from Day 1. We'd always thought about getting her some formal training so she could become a great dog!We met a dog that had been through Canine Revolution training, and were so impressed we looked into the training further. After some discussions with the Canine Revolution team, we decided to send Roxie to their 4-week "Boot Camp", as we call it. Chris was Roxie's trainer, and sent us videos 1-2 times a week to give us the opportunity to see her progress. Roxie did great under their training and care, and in 4 weeks had become the great dog we knew she could be! And not only did Canine Revolution train her, they trained us how to be better owners as well!As we continue to reinforce the training at home and build our own pack structure, Roxie just gets better and better! We have begun taking her places with us we would have been reluctant to go with a less-obedient dog, so you may see us with her in dog-friendly stores and restaurants!Canine Revolution Dog Training isn't just a team of great dog trainers. They are supportive, informative, and caring people who are creating a community of well-trained dogs and owners! Chris continues to provide us with follow-up visits and is available to answer any training questions we might have. We are extremely happy to be a part of the Canine Revolution family and community!!

Sending our one year old Golden to Canine Revolution has been one of the best decisions we've ever made! They are absolutely a 5-Star business. They were recommended to us by a friend who sent two dogs in succession to their program. After speaking to Canine Revolution through e-mail and a phone call with one of the trainers, I felt very comfortable signing up for the 4 week training class. We were so happy with Lexy from the minute we met her! She was patient with all my questions and concerns and always got back to me very promptly when I texted her. We LOVED that we got videos and training advice twice per week and were amazed at the progress they were making. And- he looked so happy in every video!Journey was a strong leash-puller and had issues with doing zoomies in the house and on leash. I knew I needed help since I wanted to enjoy his companionship and not just struggle with the advice and training we had at puppy school prior to Canine Revolution.Lexy identified his personality traits which really helped me to understand why he was behaving the way he was. She was able to correct all of the issues and returned the dog of my dreams to our family. He is still fun and goofy, but he speaks the same language as us now, and is eager to impress us with his good behavior. For me, learning to relax on his spot and taking peaceful runs/walks together has been the highlight of all of his new skills. Also, I am so grateful for the boarding they offer. I don't feel guilty because I know he's having fun and being held accountable for his behavior.Thank you Lexy and Canine Revolution! We'll recommend you to others with full confidence in your trainers and programs.

Honestly I don’t know where to start! Our Reggie was definitely borderline uncontrollable when it came to public settings, vet visits and walks but after the 4 week session with Kevin we have hope!! We no longer have to be dragged around our neighborhood by our 70lb fur baby and he rarely gets distracted on our walks like he did before! The biggest change is now we can actually relax within our home without him being all up in our faces, jumping on us and other people when they walk through the door. Training him to a specific “spot” has given us more control and we couldn’t be happier! Reggie is only 2 and still has that puppy energy but we can actually control it better now that Kevin laid the foundation we needed to give him the best life possible! Thank you so much Kevin!

Canine Revolution Dog Training has given us a life with our dogs outside of the house that we had only dreamed possible. After their 4 weeks with Kevin, we could see an immediate difference. We have been able to walk them every day in public places, their anxiety levels have dropped immensely, distractions are becoming less and less. While we were apprehensive about what would happen to the dogs during training and afterwards, we now look at their behavior and can recognize all the things we had done wrong and how to correct our behavior to help them.We cannot say enough great things about Canine Revolution, their professionalism, and their love for the dogs. Their program has shown immediate results and their continuing education and interaction is helping take the training, for both the dogs and us, beyond where it is at today for a better life.

Canine revolution was the best program we could have put our dog in! Cabela, our Saint Bernard, came back to us after a four week program and was a new dog. We can now take Cabela in public places, walk without pulling on the leash, go out to outdoor restaurants while she lays down peacefully without whining, listens to direction, is disciplined and is not distracted by other animals. It is a night and day change that has made our experience as dog owners ten times more enjoyable! Thank you Lexi and the Canine Revolution team for training Cabela!

We just got our Shepherd Husky mix Gracie back from her 4 week stay. Can’t thank our trainer Chris enough for the work he and the team did with her. We can already see a major difference in Gracie. We are now enjoying walks with her instead of being pulled around the neighborhood. We are also not fearful of running into another dog on our walks. We are very excited to be able to include Gracie in many more family activities now that we couldn’t do in the past. The provided handbook and follow up lessons are key to the training. We are grateful for this added benefit. If you are struggling with obedience with your family dog, don’t hesitate to sign them up with Canine Revolution. Well worth the investment as you are essentially getting a trainer for life with all the extra benefits you receive after completing the course. Thanks again Chris and Chad along with your entire team!

Sending our new rescue dog to Canine Revolution was one of the best decisions we’ve made! When we first got our rescue, he was leash reactive, suffering from bad separation anxiety, and virtually impossible to walk. Now he is a dream to walk, sleeps peacefully in his crate at night, and is just a calmer, happier dog overall. We are blown away by the transformation! Special thanks to trainer Lexy who is magical Dog Whisperella! We are so grateful to you guys for giving our dog a second chance at living a happy, full life. We are all enjoying life more now. Highly recommend 10/10.

This is a team that absolutely cares about what they do. Their positive attitude and professionalism shines through in the dogs. They also provide great resources and follow up after the training. Our rescue pitbull, Barney, was on his own program until he returned from the basic training course. Along with learning basic commands, he now understands the pack structure and no longer wanders off. Money we'll spent.

Kudos to Canine Revolution! About six months ago, we adopted a pit mix dog named Linus. Linus is two years old and had not had much training before coming to live in our home. Linus is deaf which brought other challenges. He was counter surfing, ripping up any pillow, sheet, shoe, etc. He was also licking the walls and digging holes in the backyard. At night, it was hard for us to relax and watch TV because he would get bored and would paw and bark at us. Also, he would pull on the leash and would not walk with me After four weeks at Canine Revolution, Linus was a changed dog. No more counter surfing, no more licking the walls or digging in the backyard. He walks on the leash beautifully and will sit and do the down command. When we motion for him to go to his spot which is a suspension bed in the corner of the living room, he will go. He would also try to chase our cats and he will not do this now as he will stay on his spot. I couldn’t believe it! My husband and I highly recommend Canine Revolution! Thank you Kevin for doing a wonderful job!!

We rescued a 6 yr old Chocolate Lab that we knew had some possessive and aggressive behavior related to food and toys. I thought that I could manage him because I had owned several dogs. After one year of many incidents, we sent him to Chad and his crew for 6 weeks. He was a different dog when he returned, and with the advice and continuing support provided by Chad, we now have a dog that will listen and obey, rather than becoming aggressive. We use Canine Revolution's boarding services and I am amazed that the dogs in training are always under control when we arrive at the facility.

We enrolled our Labradoodle in the Canine Revolution Training Program when she was approximately one year old. We were able to watch her progress with videos of her in training. The results of the training were outstanding. In the year following, we have contacted the trainer, Kevin, for advice in dealing with any behavior questions that we had. He has responded quickly, with great recommendations, and even offered to visit our home if it would be helpful. We cannot say enough about the great staff and programs at Canine Revolution.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and reliable team of individuals to train your dog, look no further. This is a first class organization that not only pours their knowledge into your dog, but also into you as the owner. They go above and beyond to ensure there is a common understanding of not only what they are teaching your dog, but how to continue that training and upholding the standard upon their arrival back home. The return on investment you receive is second to none, so long as you follow the customized handbook they send you home with. 11/10 experience with this program and Kevin as the head trainer for my 2 yr old Belgian Malinois.

Lexi did an AMAZING job with my puppy! We are so happy with her. My puppy would bark, pull the leash, and we didn’t know what to do. Utter chaos. The advanced training did the trick. Everything she does is specific and her communication with us (including the dog) was second to none. We are so happy with the outcome - thank you canine revolution!

I can not thank Canine Revolution enough for the amazing work they did with my dog, not the same dog that went into training, she is 1000 times improved, and I did not think it was going to be possible. I really appreciate Kevin, he worked so hard with Mila, sent video updates, and has kept in contact after the training. If you are looking for a place for your dog to train, this is it, I checked out everyone else in town, and knew they were the right choice, and worth every penny.

Some background on our 16 month old dog before I get into what a wonderful service Canine Revolution Dog Training is. My husband and I rescued a puppy in 2021 called Nile from the Bahamas, a potcake as they call dogs on the island. When he came to our home in New York, since he was an island dog we renamed him Coakley, after a bay in St. Croix. We moved to South Carolina 6 months ago and like most young dogs they are full of energy and he developed a lot of habits that we strongly felt were just not right. Strong leash pulling, barking, separation anxiety to name a few. Local pet store training once a week back in NY and also here in SC didn't cut it. We needed some serious training. Through research on the internet my husband found Canine Revolution Dog Training which is owed by Chad Singer. SO GLAD HE DID! We chose the advanced 4 week program and although Coakley was gone for that period of time he came back a new dog. The training they provided, including with a remote collar was amazing. More amazing is his trainer Kevin Miller! When he came to our home to pick Coakley up he was attentive to our concerns and treated us and Coakley with utmost respect. We received weekly video/emails of his training and we were amazed after the first 4 days how wonderful Coakley behaved on his first video! When he came home Kevin gave us written instructions, demonstrated the commands and made us feel so comfortable and capable of continuing Coakley's training. He schedules follow-up sessions at our home and he always answers our questions and addresses our concerns! We meet at parks for group lessons, at stores for training and we can always email, text or call Kevin and he responds always in a timely manner. It takes work from us also as owners and like Kevin told us, stick with it and Coakley will continually improve. Coakley has been home with us for about a month now and with dedication by us and Kevin we are soooo happy beyond words! We highly recommend Canine Revolution Dog Training, Chad, Kevin, and all the other trainers and assistants who have worked with Coakley to give us back a precious gift, a well behaved dog!

The team at K9 Revolution helped our pup become a happier, calmer dog. When we call K9 Revolution our dog had major anxiety resulting in bad behavior and a lot of unnecessary barking. The obedience training and structure provided by their program taught us how to manage our family member better and provide structure that eased her anxiety. She is a brand new dog! She still has her spirit and is very cuddly but she is calmer and happier and knows the rules of the house. I couldn’t be more grateful to our trainer Chris and the team at K9 Revolution. Worth every penny! Thank you ❤️

My wife and I got our yellow lab mix Willie from Eunoia Rescue down here in Charleston. While Willie is as sweet as it gets he certainly needed some guidance when it came to his behavior. Chad responded to me in a timely manner and immediately set up a time to talk over the phone. After following Chad's advice for a few weeks, we eventually met up and introduced Willie to the remote collar. Chad was incredibly knowledgeable on this training tool as well as able to relay the teaching information to myself. My wife and I are extremely grateful to Chad for his help with our pup and I would recommend him 10 times out of 10 to anyone looking for professional dog training advice!

CRDT has forever changed my life as a dog owner! They are phenomenal dog trainers!! They are dedicated to not only training your dog, but also to equipping owners with the tools and confidence to continue training at home and enhance the dog-owner relationship. Before training, my rescue pup had severe separation anxiety, and as a dominant dog, he lacked respect for me as his handler. He’d howl so bad in his crate during the work day that it’d sound like a farm animal was being killed in my home, and I’d come home from work to a crate with bent bars, a ripped up crate bed and a stressed out dog. Despite walking for 2 hours in the morning, it was like he was never exhausted enough to just settle in his crate. On walks he would fixate on anything that breathed and would pull on the leash. If he wasn’t directly supervised in the house, he’d chew on cords or knock the trash can over to eat it’s contents.Upon arrival home from training, there was already a world of difference in my dogs behavior, and this time when my dog would test limits, I had the tools and knowledge to hold him accountable. Within a week, I could see the respect my dog was building for me. We’re now a little over 2 months out of training, and my life as a dog owner is typically a breeze day to day. My dog heels beside me for a morning walk with no deviation unless I allow him to walk elsewhere. Squirrels, rabbits, people and other dogs have him completely unfazed. He is typically asleep in his crate during the day before I even leave the house most days. And for me, most excitingly, he looks up to me for direction and command when in training mode or when spoken to. All of this to say, he’s not always in training mode… he gets to be a dog too, however, he knows now that his privileges are earned and can be taken away just as easily as they’re given.I couldn’t say more good things about the work that CRDT does. They continue to support owners after training. They’re always willing to troubleshoot situations that come up after training. They recognize hard work that owners continue after training when you put the effort into it. They are who I’d trust, a million times over, with my dogs! Training with CRDT is worth every penny of your money!!

Worth every penny! This team is amazing. It’s been a year since contacting CRDT to train my girl. I remain pleased with the results achieved by Kevin and the team. Before training, I was ready to re-home her, and skeptical to reach out, having contacted other training companies. I found their website and read their bio’s thinking “this is perfect”.They got her in the 8-week board/train program while I relocated between states. CRDT was 100% accommodating, helpful, and honest. Each staff member, from drop off, to coming home, kept me informed, answered questions quickly, and treated my family and dog perfectly. The highlight of the training was update videos each week - I asked Kevin if it was really my dog in them, or a well-behaved clone of her, only a week or more into the program! I also used the boarding service for crazy work/travel schedules; they accommodated well even for my time crunches. The training for my girl changed the atmosphere of my home and life from chaos to peaceful. I still use their education, training tools, and behavior-mod techniques (both owner and dog - can’t leave myself out of the responsibility). If I had to do it over again, I would not hesitate.

Canine Revolution is absolutely phenomenal! My organization, Eunoia Rescue, has worked with Canine Revolution to rehabilitate several of our dogs over the past several years, and we will never use another board and train facility! We have sent dog aggressive, human aggressive, and extremely fearful dogs to them— and every single dog has come back to us in a position where they could easily be adopted. They have quite literally helped us save close to a dozen lives via their training and guidance! From the initial coordination of a consultation with the dog in need, to the follow up sessions post-training, I have felt at ease every step of the way, with every dog.Communication is excellent, and I never felt in the dark or worried as to how our dogs may be doing. The update videos that come twice a week make you feel involved in the training process, and prepare you for the return of your pup! And the incredibly detailed handbook is everything I could ever wish for— explaining the science behind their training techniques, breaking down the commands/hand motions, and providing a list of recommended supplies really makes the reintegration process smooth. The cherry on top is that it is extremely evident how much the entire team at Canine Revolution cares for the dogs they train! Not only are there practices in place that keep up the training post-training, but they also are incredibly helpful in helping us select the best adopters for our dogs, paying special attention to that particular dog’s individual needs.I am forever grateful for the amazing work Canine Revolution does, and recommend them every chance I can get! I look forward to a long partnership with Chad and his team!

We signed up our 5-month old French Bulldog for their 4-week Advanced Course. Having a little apprehension of turning our 9 lb puppy over to total strangers doesn't need muh explanation. However, when Chris came to pick her up at the house all fears immediately dissipated. He was professional and knowledgable of the breed. He walked us through every step and concern we had. We got videos twice a week of her progress and all of our emails and texts of questions were answered promptly. After 4 weeks, Chris continues to be a part of her training, and most importantly ours. I highly recommend CRDT for any breed with any training or behavior concerns. 5 stars isnt enough for this group of professionals.

My dog Juniper was an absolute tornado of a dog before Kevin and his team did their magic. She is smart, and also very easily distracted. The dog we have now is focused, obedient, and loyal while still retaining her inner wild child. I appreciated everything Canine Revolution have done for me and my family. And even now that she is an alum of their program there is still plenty of support, classes she can go to and always someone to call if I have any questions or problems. I can't recommend this team enough. Best thing I've done for a dog, hands down. If you're on the fence, do it. You'll be happy you did.

My husband and I can not say enough great things about Canine Revolution. To walk our dog before the training was a chore and the only person that could really handle Bo’s pulling was my husband. He has pulled our sons down a few times during walks. Now, walking Bo is enjoyable. He learned so much while he was there but the change in our walks was completely worth it! We have also used them for boarding after our training was complete. The grooming service Canine offers is the best around. We recommend Canine to everyone and would definitely use them again!

Canine Revolution should be the only place you consider sending your dogs for training. Chad and his team take their responsibility extremely seriously when it comes to the care and attention they pay your pets. Not only do they instill a superior level of training protocols in your dogs, but they also give you all of the knowledge you could ever need to continue to be successful with them. Kevin has trained all three of our boys, and their behavior as well as their listening has been night and day. Our dogs were incredibly reactive to outside distractions before their stay at Canine, to the point where our one would lash out at our other dogs when he would become overwhelmed. Now, thanks to Kevin, they understand the pack structure of our family, and fall back on their training to maintain their positioning and behavioral structure. They also offer a boarding program that is probably the most undervalued part of the entire training process. Knowing that we can have our dogs stay with people that we completely trust whenever we travel is more peace of mind than we could ever imagine. I cannot say enough good things about Canine Revolution, and if you love your dogs as much as we love ours, make the right choice and send them. It’s the best decision you will ever make for you and your pets.

I came to work with Canine Revolution through my foster dog Stan. They worked with him for weeks before he came to me and they transformed him into a happy, confident, adoptable dog. When it came time for Stans transition into my household Samantha and Chad left no stone unturned when it came to making sure I understood how to maintain Stans new obedience training. I thought I would be overwhelmed or somehow mess it up, but they turned me into a happy and confident dog owner - leader of my pack, if you will. Canine Revolution is a concierge dog service. They’ve traveled the distance to my home twice to make sure Stan is settled, are very email / text responsive if I have questions, they check in regularly and even offer mini-refresher classes for Stan and I to keep up our practice. They’ve changed the life of an unadoptable dog into a happy and thriving pup. I couldn’t recommend them more.

I’ve had dogs my whole life, wish I could have had Canine Revolution train them all! They did such a great job training my golden retriever as well as training me and my daughters. Max is such a great member of our family now. He goes everywhere with us and always behaves. They taught us all how to communicate with Max. I looked at other trainers but I liked the positive aspect of Canine revolution. Almost went with another until I met her dog, it was a robot. We now have a furry family member that impresses everyone that meets him. He still has his loving personality, just loves to please us and is such a joy to have around. Please, please if you have a dog do him/her and yourself a huge favor and call Canine revolution. Dogs are the only animal on earth that has truly made an alliance with man, let them show you how to enjoy that love!

I highly recommend Canine Revolution Dog training. I wanted to have better lifestyle, I wanted to understand my dog better, I wanted to have well behaved, happier dog and all of that is happening after my dog Blu went to the advance training program with The Revolution. I would describe the communication with the team as responsive, informative and polite. There is a language barrier in my case, and everyone I communicate with went out of their way making sure I understand them correctly. Lexy and Chad were working with my dog Blu, but when we went to the first group class I realise the other trainers also knew my dog. They truly, truly love what they do. If you ask me was it worthed to send my dog to CRDT, I would say, YES….it was…100%.

Our Rocky is a BAC rescue who was around 3 years old when we took him home. At this age we were his fourth owners. He was greatly reactive to anything that moved, people, cars, trucks and golf carts. It was embarrassing the way he would lunge and bark and growl loudly. Stressful for him and me. When I did my research I decided on CRDT. Worth every penny. Chris and Lexy did an amazing job and couldn't believe it was the same dog when they brought him back. I enjoy walking him and it is stress free for both of us. Our neighbors have also commented on well he has done. They are always there when you have questions and their follow up sessions at your home after their 4 weeks are up are invaluable. I would recommend their program to anyone who wants a well behaved dog.Two thumbs up and 5 plus stars. Thanks so much.

Living the dog owners dream.. It is a real thing!Chad and his team were able to make Sven behave in ways I never thought possible. Instead of getting pulled down the street by every distraction, Sven now walks by my side, still noticing the distractions but maintains his position. We are now able to actually use the leash less but have more control then before. Maintaining the training once Sven returned home has been a major part of his continued development, It's a lot to take on in the beginning but becomes daily routine rather quickly.

SEND YOUR DOG HERE! There is not enough positive words in the world to explain my thoughts on this place! I placed my 6 month old Lab puppy (Cheddar Puff) in the 6 week Advanced (on leash/off leash) Training Program and she is better behaved and trained then most adult dogs now. Kevin was Cheddar's trainer and he did a fantastic job with her! We received two video updates a week with detailed descriptions of what they worked in (which helped with new mom separation 🙂 ) Kevin and all the staff at Canine Revolution were quick to respond to emails or texts and they treat ever dog like they are their own! Below I attached a picture of Cheddar, and a blurb about what a typical day looks and answers to several questions I asked Kevin! Cheddar will continued to be boarded there through their boarding program they offer for alumni! WE LOVE CANINE REVOLUTION

Thank you to Chad & Samantha for making it where I feel comfortable taking Judah places! Before he would overpower me but now he actually listens to my commands and doesn’t drag me everywhere! We have a big French Mastiff and although he is laid back we needed him to listen dependably as we have young children who would be easily knocked over, etc. For example, on one occasion prior to training he saw a squirrel and took off as one of the kids was waking him although no one was hurt it could have been bad. Our 6 and 8 year olds now walk him on leash and he listens very well. Hasn’t chased any squirrels, etc. On occasion he off leash in open areas and comes immediately when called from some distance away. He will sit and stay reliably. We were so happy with the results and their treatment of our 110lb puppy we drive 2 hours to drop him off for boarding when we leave town.

Chad and his team at Canine Revolution are amazing. Excellent dog trainer; but more importantly, Chad helped us understand how our dog thinks and what she needs, therefore, training our family to be the pack leaders. He doesn’t stop at dog training. Canine Revolution is always available for support and answers questions very quickly. Now we enjoy our well behaved dog in every situation, all day! She can be part of our family and go where we go. It’s unquestionably worth the investment!

Canine Revolution Dog Training is the best dog trainer I have ever worked with. They took a dog with a history of insecurity and an antisocial personality and turned him into a dog and human loving puppy that he was always supposed to be. On top of that, Sullivan has some of the best training I have ever seen in a dog. He is so well behaved, both on and off a leash. Using the structured two week transition period when we first got him, Sullivan quickly learned the ‘pack’ hierarchy and had virtually no trouble coming from the Canine Revolution program into our house. He is only 1 year old, and had 2 months of training, but I can walk him off leash around our neighborhood and he sticks to our hips like glue. I have gotten so many great comments on how well trained he is, even from people who have used other training agencies. The best part is, if you have any questions at all, they are always so willing to call or text you ASAP. On top of that, Canine Revolution has ‘continuing education’ opportunities for you and your dog on weekends to help reinforce the training, and to take that training to the next level (if you want). Overall, I really cannot recommend Canine Revolution Dog Training enough!

These guys are worth every penny spent! I have a Frenchie pup who has a very strong-willed personality not to mention spoiled rotten. He was a nightmare to ride in the car with as well as a door-dasher! He spent 8 weeks away from home and this team kept me informed weekly with video updates to make the process less painful for me! He has been home a few weeks and we still have a relationship with CRDT if we are having any challenges (very few). I can't express the gratitude I have for them and the peace of mind they have given me to be able to control my boy, Maverick and to be able to take him places without jumping on everyone he wants to greet.

Canine Revolution changed everything about our lives, when they trained our little Yorkie. He was small but fierce, and made it impossible to have guests at our home (he would attack and bark without ceasing), and we definitely could not take him in public. NOW, he rides in the car well, follows commands perfectly, is less anxious when we have guests, and goes in public with confidence. We are more confident too!

Everything you have read about CRDT is true. They are every bit as committed to the training of your dog as they are to building your confidence as your dog's pack leader. I was hesitant to make the drive to SC from Texas, so I originally went with a program locally. Fast forward 6 months and now after completing training with CRDT, I wish I would have gone with them last year. The results after just four weeks have been incredible. My pitbull Astro is five-years-old, and now, thanks to Chris and the team, we have the tools needed to address his reactivity and build his long-term confidence. Walks used to be stressful and required a lot of avoidance of other dogs. Now, Astro is able to walk on a loose-leash, through busy areas, and over time we will work toward passing other dogs without any issues (he is a dog-reactive pup and I knew going into training this wouldn't go away instantly, but his progress has really been amazing). If you are hesitating because of the price or the distance from your home, I urge you to choose Canine Revolution anyways. They have changed our lives and I am so glad we found them. This picture is from Astro and I's first hike together, something we never used to be able to do before training.

We can’t say enough about Canine Revolution Dog Training! We have a sweet but high energy, strong-willed dog who was running our house. After 4 weeks of training she listens to voice commands and we are able to take her with us to so many places we would have never considered before. Not only did our dog benefit from the training, but we were provided very detailed, professional instructional videos throughout her training so we knew what to do when she returned home. She’s still as sweet as ever - she’s just obedient now. We have also boarded her with Canine Revolution, where she receives continued obedience training and recreational time throughout her stay. She was excited to return there to see the trainers and best of all they truly love and take excellent care of your fur baby. We highly recommend Canine Revolution Dog Training overall and Chris is a fabulous trainer!

Canine Revolution Dog Training did an excellent job in training Moses. The before and after is amazing. Kevin’s follow up was great after Moses came home just to make sure all was going well and to make sure Moses was following his training. We are very happy with the training and with Moses!

We sent our dog Gracie for 6 weeks of obedience training. She is a mixed-rescue breed. Kevin and the team at Canine Revolution did a great job with her. She is great to walk (heeled) now without pulling on the leash. She obeys her commands, doesn’t bound in or out of the house or her kennel. Lays down in the car and rides calmly and quietly. The training has been all we hoped for and Gracie is now a well behaved dog.

Every cent was worth the training that came out of working with Canine Revolution. Not only is my dog more confident with herself, but I'm more confident as a dog owner. I never thought I could leave my husky off leash, but now I have a hard time remembering a leash whenever we are outside of the house. The training was thorough and easily explained. This crew truly love the dogs they work with and you can tell. I trust them 100% with my dog any time!

We are a multi dog home. When our youngest pack member began viciously attacking our oldest pack member, we didn’t know what to do. All I knew was the situation was out of my scope of comfort... I didn’t know how to respond, manager or correct the situation. I had a phone consult with Kevin Miller then he visited our home for an evaluation. From the moment we spoke on the phone I knew CRDT was exactly where Georgia needed to be. Time and time again as Georgia was away at training Kevin and the entire team made us feel confident, comfortable and reassured when needed. Now as I sit here writing this Cruz, Sneak and Georgia(less than 2 weeks out of training) are all peaceful relaxing in the same room together. The only thing I regret regarding our experience with CRDT is that I didn’t call sooner.

Miraculous transformation of our 2 year old German Shepherd Rescue!!! I sent Scooby to the 6 week intensive board and train program because of his high level of anxiety and tendency to lunge at other dogs, chase trucks/buses/kids on bikes. What came back to me, was a calm, secure dog, who heels beautifully, sits at my side whenever I stop to talk to someone on the street, comes when I call, and exhibits no aggression. I'm 100% amazed and am so impressed by Chad Singer and his team...they treat the dogs with respect while helping them learn core obedience skills and adjust to a pack structure. I appreciate the 2 videos per week I received while Scooby was away...it helped me see what he was learning and reassured me that he and Chad were developing a solidbond. Chad's been super helpful since Scooby returned home and has helped me become a strong pack leader. These guys are true professionals and passionate experts in their field. I'll be forever grateful.

Toby is such a great dog but we were having some issues with him. He would pull on the leash when we walked; he was easily distracted and lacked confidence. At 65 lbs Toby was too much for me to control. We needed someone to train Toby in basic obedience and coach us on how to handle him.Chad did an outstanding job! When he brought Toby back to us I was amazed at the level of conditioning Chad had achieved with Toby in 4 weeks. I love my walks with Toby now and daily obedience work is easy to do. The structure it has introduced into my daily routine is wonderful. Now I receive compliments all the time on how well behaved Toby is.We just went to our first continuing education class on Saturday and had a phenomenal time. The individual attention we received was outstanding. It is notable that when CR trainers interact with you they are 100% focused on you and your dog and that they give you as much time as you need. They are vested in teaching you their dog magic (classical conditioning of markers). CR’s continued support after basic training is golden and reflects their commitment to the highest standards. Chad thank you so much! We look forward to continuing our journey with you all.

Louie, our 16 month old Beagle, went through the 4 week Advanced Training program and we are very pleased! Walking him is so much more enjoyable now after training and his overall behavior is a lot better. He listens better and patiently stays where he’s told without too much redirection and correction. We appreciated receiving update videos while he was away being trained. The videos were not only an opportunity to see how our pup was doing but our trainer spoke to us in the video, teaching us so we could better prepare for Louie’s return. We haven’t gone to any follow up group training sessions yet but plan to as soon as possible. Kevin, our trainer is very responsive when I email or text him with questions or concerns. We plan to use Canine Revolution in the future to board Louie if we go away because they will reinforce what he’s learned while boarding there. We are very happy we found Canine Revolution!

Having a Large breed working dog, and a special needs senior dog I knew I would need help with training so that my family could flourish. After doing some research for board and train, CRDT was recommended to me by a dear friend. I immediately set up a meeting with Chad. We spent every part of an hour standing in his driveway talking and I knew he was not only extremely knowledgeable but truly passionate about what he did, but even then, I could not truly imagine the level of service I would get from CRDT and team. Not only did my 6 month old Rottweiler come home with confidence and was secure in his commands, I gained another family with Chad and his team. Dogs are not robots and it takes a lot of work and consistency to maintain a well-balanced and trained pet, however I know with CRDT on my side we are never alone. I can not thank Chad and everyone at Canine Revolution Dog Training for all that they have and continue to give me and Petey.

They (Kevin) was amazing. We had a new puppy being trained, and an 8 year old deaf dog being trained as well. Both dogs came out of the experience totally changed, yet still the same and amazing. We are going to be getting another dog soon, and he will be going to training as well.

No comment yet, plan on meeting with the staff to discuss our training needs. I have met one training aid who has a very well trained dog from this eatablishmentUpdate: 25 Jan, 2021. Our dog Dixie has now been trained by Canine Revolution and we could NOT BE MORE pleased! If you love your pet and want the right training this is the place.Dixie used to bark at every bicycle, skate board and or car riding by. Since training she watches these roll by without the aggression.Dixie now listens to commands learned in Canine Revolution. She walks beautifully on leash without pulling me everywhere. We also attended our first post graduation group class with many other extremely happy dog families. The staff guided all of the families present through some training scenarios. It was a lot of fun and educational for me as the owner.Folks this is the BEST investment you can make if you want your dog to break whatever bad habit they might have. The staff is professional, caring and the best in their fields. They are also available for you after graduation, that's a sign of quality.Last comment, my nephew is a K-9 policeman and his dog went thru Canine Revolution as well as the police station for training...call, you won't be sorry.

Chad and his team were very easy to work with, provided a fantastic result, and show their care through the follow-up options available after initial training. Our rescue dog wasn't bad, but needed to learn how to appropriately walk on a leash and a boost of confidence. Canine Revolution transformed his behavior and allow us to be more part of the family by taking him out with us. We will be sending all of our future pets to him and recommend his services to friends constantly. Highly recommend!

When we reached out to Canine Revolution Training about our Daphne, I think my words to them were “We’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old—she is now 3 and runs our house and our lives.”Kevin Miller responded to us quickly, setting up a consult and sending us some video links so we could get some insight into what we were experiencing with Daphne. After her training, he made sure we understood that it would never be a case of “one and done”—that training (hers and ours) would be a lifelong commitment, but it would pay off in spades if we were patient and consistent.Well, all I can say, is Kevin and the team at Canine Revolution gave us back our house, our lives and has allowed us to make an even better life for Daphne—one where she feels secure, safe and loved. The best part of all is Canine Revolution doesn’t just “drop and go”—they continue to be a resource for us, with on-going group training classes, one-on-one time if needed, and even boarding/day care. It’s not just a business model for them—it truly is a commitment to dogs and dog owners; they want the best possible life for everyone in the family and they will be there every step of the way.
