PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS
One Methodology, One Standard. At Canine Revolution, we train as a unit. While our trainers come from diverse backgrounds—ranging from Law Enforcement to Behavioral Psychology—every team member is rigorously trained in the same Canine Revolution Methodology. We work collaboratively on cases to ensure your dog benefits from our collective expertise, regardless of which trainer leads your sessions.
CHAD SINGER
FOUNDER, TRAINING DIRECTOR, AUTHOR
🇺🇸 Veteran: Former U.S. Navy Officer
🎓 Education: B.S. Civil Engineering, The Citadel
🐕 Expertise: Advanced Behavior Modification, Working Breeds, Staff Education
📖 Author: The Ultimate Leash Training Manual: 5 Steps to a Well Behaved Dog
📍 Origin: Goose Creek, SC
Originally from Goose Creek, Chad graduated from The Citadel in 2013 before commissioning into the United States Navy. Serving as a Communications Officer, Boarding Team Officer, and Detachment Officer-in-Charge, he developed the leadership precision that now defines the Canine Revolution methodology.
His journey into professional training began with his own dog, Bane—a high-drive working breed that struggled with severe reactivity, over-excitement, and anxiety. Realizing that standard obedience wasn’t enough, Chad immersed himself in behavior modification to save his dog. He resigned from active duty to pursue dog training full-time in San Diego before returning home to found Canine Revolution.
Today, Chad specializes in the “Impossible Cases”—dogs that other trainers have turned away. He leads the team’s Behavioral Rehabilitation protocols, ensuring every dog receives a fair, biological approach to mental health. As an IACP Professional Member, Chad holds his methods to the highest standards of the canine training industry.
Chad is also the host of Pack Talk Podcast, with nearly 48,000 listeners, where he covers real-world dog training, owner mindset, and the balanced training philosophy.

CHRIS TIPTON
SENIOR LEAD TRAINER
👮 Law Enforcement: Former Summerville Police Detective
🎓 Education: B.A. Criminal Justice, The Citadel
🐕 Expertise: Behavior Modification, Crisis Management, Reactivity
📍 Origin: Summerville, SC
A Summerville native, Chris graduated from The Citadel in 2011 before serving his community as a Patrolman and Detective with the Summerville Police Department. His background in the Emergency Services Unit and Criminal Investigations has given him a unique skill set in crisis management and high-stakes observation—skills he now applies to rehabilitating dangerous dogs.
Chris’s passion for training was born from necessity. After adopting Vader, a dog with severe anxiety and dangerous behavioral outbursts, Chris realized that standard “pet training” was failing. By implementing a Biological Leadership Framework, he was able to rehabilitate Vader from a liability into a balanced family member.
As the Lead Behavior Specialist, Chris oversees our most challenging cases, helping owners navigate the rehabilitation process with the same calm precision he brought to law enforcement. He continues to serve the community as a Reserve Officer while leading his own “squad” of dogs: Rampage, Lola, and Leia.
DANNY
PROFESSIONAL TRAINER
❤️ Passion: Rescue Integration & Rehabilitation
🛡️ Background: High-Volume Shelter Experience
🐕 Expertise: Anxiety, Confidence Building, Obedience Integrations
📍 Origin: Cape Cod, MA
Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Danny relocated to Summerville in 2024 with a clear mission: to bridge the communication gap between misunderstood dogs and their families.
Danny’s expertise in Anxiety Rehabilitation was forged through his own experience with his rescue dog, Macie. Found running through traffic, malnourished, and suffering from debilitating fear, Macie was a “project dog” that many would have given up on. Through patience, consistent structure, and relationship-based training, Danny didn’t just save her—he transformed her into a confident, balanced companion.
At Canine Revolution, Danny specializes in helping owners navigate the delicate stages of training. Whether it’s building confidence in a fearful rescue or laying the Foundational Obedience for a new puppy, Danny’s approach focuses on creating safety and clarity so the dog can relax and thrive.
JACY
PROFESSIONAL TRAINER
🧠 Background: Psychology & Behavioral Science
🐴 Experience: Equine (Horse) Training Foundations
🐕 Expertise: Reactivity, Socialization, Handler Coaching
📍 Origin: Franklinville, NJ
Originally from Franklinville, New Jersey, Jacy grew up immersed in the world of working animals. Her background in Equine (Horse) Training gave her an early mastery of non-verbal communication and pressure/release concepts—skills that translate seamlessly to high-level dog training.
In 2020, Jacy relocated to South Carolina to pursue a degree in Psychology. It was during this time she adopted Prada, a dog struggling with severe reactivity and dog aggression. Applying her understanding of behavioral psychology to her own dog, Jacy realized that successful rehabilitation requires training the human just as much as the dog.
At Canine Revolution, Jacy combines her academic background in psychology with practical behavioral science. She specializes in teaching owners how to read their dog’s body language and build confidence through clarity. Her goal is to empower owners to become the leaders their dogs need, transforming stress into a balanced, trusting partnership.

FAQs
Absolutely. As Citadel graduates living in Charleston, we understand the value of discipline, structure, and leadership. We apply these same principles to dog training—creating a structured “Guidance System” for your dog rather than just handing out treats. It’s about building character and reliability, values that resonate deeply here in the Lowcountry.
es. As a Veteran-Owned business, we know firsthand the stress of PCS moves and deployments. We specialize in preparing dogs for these transitions, ensuring they remain stable and confident even when the family dynamic shifts or you move to a new base. We speak your language and understand your lifestyle.
Yes, our team lives and works right here in Summerville, Goose Creek, Charleston, and Mount Pleasant. We don’t just train in a classroom; we understand the specific challenges of walking a dog on King Street, navigating Shem Creek crowds, or dealing with the wildlife in Cane Bay. We train your dog for the actual environment they will live in.
You will have a primary trainer who oversees your dog’s entire journey, but your dog also gets the benefit of our “Pack Consistency.” Because our entire team trains on the exact same standard (unlike independent contractors who do their own thing), your dog learns to listen, period, not just one person with a treat pouch.
Not at all. We use “Police Precision,” not police intensity. The same skills that allow working dogs to focus in high-stress chaos are exactly what your family dog needs to walk calmly past other dogs in your neighborhood. We tailor our energy to your dog—whether that’s a high-drive Shepherd or a sensitive Golden Retriever.
We insist on it. A “family dog” isn’t fully trained until they listen to the whole family, not just the adults. Our team loves working with kids to teach them how to be calm, confident leaders. It builds safety for the dog and confidence for your child.
This is a major issue in Charleston. Anyone can print business cards and call themselves a trainer. At Canine Revolution, every team member undergoes background checks and a rigorous apprenticeship under our Senior Staff. You aren’t just hiring a person; you are hiring a professional standard of accountability that solo trainers simply can’t offer.
